Internet Scammers are targeting homesellers. Scammers abound in SIGHberspace, so please be aware. Since potential buyers get directly in touch with you, we have no way of stopping scammers from misrepresenting themselves and wanting you to think they are interested in buying your house. Below are some examples of emails where the scammers will introduce themselves by giving you some impressive info about who they are in an effort to gain your trust. There are generally lots of misspellings and gramatical errors in these emails, but not always. NOTE: Any Emails that propose sending
you money and asking that you send a portion of that money to another are
fake. Don't do it !!!!

Don't do it!!!! .....i have conatcted my lawyer today and he told me that he will be coming over to the U.S to come and check the state of the house. I will be mailing you a check of $4800,in which i will want you to hold a deposit of $2000 for the house so that you can be rest assured that i need the house. You will be helping me to send the balance to my lawyer for him to come over to the usa,he is presently out of the usa now for a case and he said he will not take much time in the usa that he got three to four days to come and check the state of the house. I will want you to email me your full name,contact address and your phone number so that the payment can be mailed out to you.and if posible i will be coming over to the us with my farmily be May.
