Energy Incentives by State
In the U.S., few know about the many incentive programs for homeowners
to install clean renewable energy systems. These programs provide a unique
opportunity for we-the-people to help solve the energy crisis, decrease
pollution, save a bunch of money long-term, and make us less dependent
on foreign oil. Installing a renewable home energy system will not only
save money on utility bills, some programs have even paid up to 70% of
the cost for a system, and some compensate for the excess energy a home
system might produce. This is a unique win-win situation. Good for the
utility companies, who will pay less to buy energy from us than buying
it from nuclear, gas, coal, or oil sources. Good for us, as we save money,
cut back on pollution, and get paid for the energy we don't use. These
incentive programs have the potential to put the "power" back into the
