Indian Creek Maya Cave Conservation Trust Project

1 Indian Creek Village is developing a program toward sustainability through the conservation and management of a unique system of caves with cultural, archeological, and wildlife significance. 

August 6th, 2005
Meeting with Indian Creek Villagers to discuss Ecotourist Cave Project and make plans for hike to the caves on August 7th.

3 Some village artisans make beautiful traditional crafts from nature. Tecla Acal displaying some of her work. The women of 10 Mayan villages in the area are working toward creating a craft shop to sell their work and provide artisan workshops. 
4 Beautiful waterfalls behind the Village, could as well be source of power in rainy season and part of ecotourism program.
